Mom started having seizures on June 4. She went to Lewis Gale and was released a couple hours later with an increase in meds to help with seizures and headaches. Since then she has been having seizures daily.
Two weeks ago (June 17) she was at Duke for her MRI checkup. The MRI showed two sections of the tumor that are growing more rapidly than the rest of the tumor. Because of this change in the tumor another biopsy is required We are currently at Duke and she has a biopsy scheduled for tomorrow (July 1) with Dr Friedman, the same surgeon as with the last biopsy and a Purdue alum :)
Mom's sister Deb is currently at Duke as well as they are running test. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
