Updates on the past week

Robert Gibson, family friend, had his second heart catherization last Thursday. He is home now. He is still having some pain but overall is doing well to have had two operations in two weeks time.

Ma Ma, mom's mom, went to a surgeon for an elevation of the lung cancer last Tuesday. It has determined that another biopsy of lymph nodes in the lung will be necessary. This is scheduled for March 10.

Mom wants to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and support. She is very appreciative of all of the visits, cards, calls, and food (which is delicious - mom thinks she is gaining weight but we just think she's crazy).

She is currently switching anti-seizure medicines. We are hoping this change will reduce her headaches and other symptoms. Her next appointment is April 23rd at Duke to view her latest MRI to check the growth of the tumor. Hopefully, no change will be found.

I'm home this week for spring break, trying to keep mom relaxing and stress-free.

Here are some pictures from the past couple weeks (when we've remembered to grab the camera).
